For 45 years, the Tenant Resource Center has been an important part of the community. Our mission is to defend housing as a human right and strengthen housing stability by preventing evictions and educating and empowering individuals and families. The goal of housing justice is to meet all communities' needs¡ªproviding high-quality, safe housing free from discrimination for all genders, races, ethnicities, disabilities, and ages.

The Eviction Diversion and Defense Partnership (EDDP) is funded by the City of Madison, Dane County, and other funders. Visit our EDDP Website, or you can visit our office, free and confidential, to speak with our EDDP team.

You can fill out an eviction prevention screening. This tool gives Dane County renters a faster way to see what forms of assistance they may be eligible for. Note: This screening is not an application for financial assistance.
